A Pipe Fitter is a skilled tradesperson who designs, installs and repairs mechanical pipe systems. Pipefitters use their advanced technical expertise to construct pipes that transport important substances for hydraulic systems and industrial pipe infrastructure.
Ship Fitter
A Ship Fitter, also commonly referred to as a shipbuilder or shipwright, refers to the largest segment of employees involved in shipbuilding and repair. The term is derived from the words “ship” and “fit” — essentially, “fitting” parts of the “ship” together.
Pipe Welder
Pipe Welding is a process of joining materials by applying heat and/or pressure to form a permanent bond. It is a very common phase in any manufacturing process that also includes the repair of metal structures, pipes, equipment and industrial machinery, among others. Industrial welding automation relies upon equipment that has distinctive functions tailored to a certain type of approach or product. Welding machines are used to fuse metals together for fabrication and most commonly use an oxy-acetylene welder, stick welder, TIG welder, and MIG welder.
