Welding is a process of joining materials by applying heat and/or pressure to form a permanent bond.  It is a very common phase in any manufacturing process that also includes the repair of metal structures, pipes, equipment and industrial machinery, among others.  Welding automation relies upon equipment that has distinctive functions tailored to a certain type of approach or product.  Welding machines are used to fuse metals together for fabrication and most commonly use an oxy-acetylene welder, stick welder, TIG welder , and MIG welder.
